About Iris
I help people rebalance because I had to learn it myself.
Coach, recovering strategy consultant, and firm believer that a good life shouldn’t feel this heavy.

The short version
I didn’t plan to become a coach. I planned to become a partner at a consulting firm. Then my own life stopped fitting, and I had to find out why.

2002
Strategy consultant
Eleven years advising companies across Europe on how to grow. Long hours, good results, very little life.
2013
The wheel came off
Burnout, then three months off work. I trained as a coach to fix myself, and realised I’d found my work.
2014
First clients
I started coaching friends of friends in the evenings. Within a year it was my full-time job.
2019
Lisbon
I moved for the light and the slower pace, and took my practice fully online.
Today
600+ clients in 31 countries
One-to-one coaching, small groups, and a Sunday letter read by 4,000 people.
The whole picture first
We look at all eight areas of your life before we try to fix one. The problem you arrive with is rarely the one we end up working on.
Small, honest steps
One concrete experiment a week, sized so you can actually do it. Progress you can keep beats a plan you abandon.
Kind, not soft
I’ll ask the question you’ve been avoiding, gently, and then give you room to answer. You’ll never be judged, and never be flattered.
Training and credentials
I take the craft seriously. Coaching is an unregulated field, so I chose the most demanding accreditation I could find and I keep learning every year.
Professional Certified Coach (PCC), International Coaching Federation
Positive Psychology Coaching certificate
Acceptance and Commitment Coaching training
MSc in Organisational Psychology
Monthly supervision with a senior coach
